Publicity Chair and Volunteers Chair at Greeks in AI 2026

I served as Publicity Chair and Volunteers Chair at Greeks in AI 2026, held July 15–17 at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens.

As Publicity Chair, I ran the symposium’s communications and social media presence. As Volunteers Chair, I recruited, organized, and coordinated the student volunteer team in the run-up to the event and throughout its three days.

Greeks in AI gathers Greek AI researchers and practitioners from around the world to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the AI community in Greece. This edition opened with Christos Papadimitriou and featured keynotes from Serge Belongie, Georgia Gkioxari, Lydia Kavraki, Constantine Caramanis, and others, alongside 105 posters, spotlight talks, and workshops on AI and industry, causal data science, and neuroscience-inspired AI.

It was a wonderful three days. Huge thanks to the student volunteer team — the symposium simply would not have run without them.
