Accepted to CVPR 2026 — Retrieve and Segment 🎉

We’re excited to announce that our paper “Retrieve and Segment: Are a Few Examples Enough to Bridge the Supervision Gap in Open-Vocabulary Segmentation?” has been accepted to CVPR 2026.

Authors: Tilemachos Aravanis, Vladan Stojnić, Bill Psomas, Nikos Komodakis, Giorgos Tolias.

Highlights:

  • Proposes a retrieve-and-segment paradigm that leverages a few examples to bridge the supervision gap for open-vocabulary segmentation.
  • Shows strong empirical performance on standard benchmarks while requiring only a small number of exemplar annotations.

Many thanks to the co-authors and reviewers for their feedback.
